Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (PINACO) was founded in 1976. It became a public company in 2004 (Stock Code: “PAC”). After 45 years of operation, PINACO is now the leading battery manufacturer in Vietnam with four main production facilities and over 1300 employees.

With its achievements and contributions, PINACO has been honored to be awarded many medals and noble titles by the Party and State such as: Independence Order, First - Second - Third Class, Labor Order, First - Second Class - Three. In particular, in 2000, PINACO was awarded the title of "The Hero of Labor in the renovation period" by the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and recognized by the Government as "National Brand" from 2012 to present.

PINACO's battery and accumulator products have been voted by consumers as "Vietnamese High Quality Goods" for 19 consecutive years. In addition, PINACO also won other titles such as Vietnam Gold Star, one of the 100 strong brands and prestigious export enterprises in 2013-2014.
